Inherited trauma, exile and collective memory are cent...。柳青（周星驰饰）在一次偶然之中结识了戏班台柱花映红（林颖娴饰），两人之间渐渐产生了情愫。青木（惠天赐饰）因为修炼歪门邪道而走火入魔，打伤了师兄燕生（张翼饰），祸害人间。青木觊觎花映红的美貌，处处迫害柳青和花映红两人，最终，柳青被青木害死，花映红的双眼也瞎了。柳青对花映红的强烈感情感动了燕生，他施法将柳青的魂魄拉回阳界。柳青得知只要找到了慈光法体便可起死回生，而留给他的时间很短，只有七天。在这七天之内，柳青还得处处提防青木的迫害。最终，柳青还是错过了最后的期限，他不得不重返阴间和花映红天人两隔。。
