Written by Tribeca Film Festival。电影《青年冯友兰》以冯友兰少年漂泊和青年追求为轨迹，叙述了从其父中进士到参加世界哲学家大会期间，一代哲人孜孜以求探索中国哲学，并把中国哲学推向世界的历程。 由莫雪峰编剧，刘桐生导演的电影《青年冯友兰》于2010年12月25日在南阳市唐河县开机。冯友兰的女儿冯宗璞专门从北京发来贺电。南阳市、唐河县主要领导及全体演职人员参加了开机仪式，河南大学党委副书记王凌作为冯友兰先生的河大校友出席并讲话。 　　王凌在讲话中说，冯友兰先生是河南大学百年历史上一颗璀璨的明珠，是河南大学的骄傲，也是河大师生学习的榜样。他的一生都投入到中国哲学发展研究之中，著述甚丰，中、英文著作近五百万言，是较早的把中国哲学介绍到西方的中国人之一，在中国哲学史上占据重要地位。 　　此片将于2011年元月5至8日在河南大学进行拍摄，主要反映冯友兰在河南大学任教期间的生活工作情景。。
