一名年轻的社会学家准备写一篇以犯罪女性为题材的论文，他在做资料搜集时，认识了一个女性连环杀人凶手，这个在农村长大的少女九岁时已经亲手杀死她的父亲，长大后先后谋杀了她的丈夫和她的几个情人。社会学家在不知不觉间，被她的故事和魅力感染，尽力帮助她找出有利证据，使得女囚无罪开释。出狱后的女囚犯故计重施，把社会学家送进了监狱。。《南方之歌》（Đất phương Nam）。改编作家Đoàn Giỏi的小说《 Đất rừng phương Nam 》。表现的是法国殖民统治时期中期，一个孩子冒险向南方寻找他从未见过的革命者父亲，。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved.
