二次世界大战的美国，日本人都被强制送入集中管制所，在美国生活的日裔美国人也是遭此待遇。为了走出战争时的困难状况，一个日裔家庭决定在管制所举办棒球训练营，用棒球来寻求自己的生活出路。。While waiting at a train station, Nikki Collins witnesses a murder from a nearby building.
