主人翁是刚到好莱坞发展的一名印度演员，因为不熟悉环境而笨手笨脚地破坏了名制片正在拍摄的一场重头戏，以致被列入制片厂永不录用的黑名单。不料在阴差阳错之下，印度演员又接到请贴参加在制片厂老板家中举行的宴会，名制片见到他的出现分外眼红，而他则企图趁机弥补先前犯下的错误，刻意讨好制片，但是却仍然不断犯错，直至所有的宴会宾客都为之发狂。。In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea。
