以看风水为名倒卖房产的老玉米接到了一个棘手的案子，房主让他解救被“附体”的儿子，装神弄鬼的老玉米原来不过是叶公好龙，差点引火上身。在灵异爱好者唐小熙的指引下，老玉米偶遇自己多年不见的发小吴宝，吴宝看似也是个招摇撞骗的神棍，其实有些真本事，二人一拍即合开始了“伏魔降妖”的惊现历程。。Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: “$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it.
