本作の主人公は、人生崖っぷちの若きシングルマザー・岩崎和佳（いわさきのどか）。「食べるためにはなんでもやる！」と思っていた彼女は1人の漁師に出会い「1万円で俺たちの浜を立て直してくれ！」とオファーされる。こうして、必死に生きる漁師たちの夢を一緒に背負うことになった和佳。頑固な海の男たちとぶつかり合いながらも、ド素人ならではの大胆さで古い常識や慣習を次々と打ち破り、しがらみだらけの業界で大革命を巻き起こしていく。なお「ファーストペンギン」とは、多くの敵が潜む海に飛び込む“勇気ある1羽目のペンギン”のことだ。。After years on the run, the mystery man known as "Trick" is back, but not on his own terms. Trick finds himself trapped in a cage with four other hostages - all of them paralyzed from the neck down. When Trick realizes that one of the other hostages is an old foe, Detective Epperson, the two begin working together to uncover the connection between them and their captor - a mask...。
