悲惨的童年经历让何家邦（郑则仕 饰）早早就承担起了养家糊口照顾弟妹的重担，时光荏苒，如今的他已经是一个年近四十但任然形单影只的中年男人了。何家邦十分想念外出求学的弟弟家乐（陈锦鸿 饰），没想到，当家乐学成归来之时，竟然提出了想要改姓的要求。嘉嘉（傅明宪 饰）是家中最受宠的小妹，长大之后，她因为陷入了一场不伦之恋而几乎断绝了和大哥家邦的来往。 与此同时，雯雯（曹众 饰）、开枝（张慧仪 饰）和来喜（刘雅丽 饰）接二连三的出现在了家邦的身边，这三位性格迥异但各具风情的女性让从未想过娶妻生子的家邦体会到了爱情的甜蜜与苦楚。。The Karate Dog is a 2004 made for TV movie starring Chevy Chase, Simon Rex, Jon Voight, and Jaime Pressly.
